Buying sight-unseen should cost you nothing if it goes wrong.
You cannot audition these in a shop, so the terms have to carry the risk instead. Here is exactly what happens after you order, and what happens years later.
30-day home trial
Your room, your amplifier, your music, for 30 days. That is a far better test than any showroom, where the room is tuned and the amplifier is not yours. If they are not right, send them back in the original packing. You cover return freight.
Service for as long as you own them
Repair labour is free to the original owner, permanently. Parts at cost. Every driver, crossover component, grille and plate stays available. Nothing here is designed to become unrepairable.
Trade-up credit
Within five years, 60 per cent of what you paid comes off a larger model. Your old pair comes back to the bench, gets attention where it needs it, and finds a second owner who could not stretch to new.
Honest lead times
About a week on the bench, one to five days in transit. If the order book grows past that, prices go up before lead times do — a ten-week wait helps nobody and quietly punishes the people who ordered last.
Why payment is taken up front
Because nothing is built speculatively. Your payment buys the hardwood, the drivers and the crossover components for your cabinets specifically. That is what lets a one-person workshop put the whole budget into the product instead of into carrying stock — and it is why the trial terms exist, to put the risk of that arrangement back on this side of it.
Second-hand and returned stock
Cabinets that come back from a trial or a trade-up are inspected, refinished where they need it, and sold at a reduced price. They carry the same service promise. If you want a way into the line below new prices, ask what is on the shelf.
For studios and installers
Recording studios and custom installers work on different terms than retail customers, because the work you do around the speaker is where your margin lives. Get in touch and we will set something up that makes sense rather than pretending you are a retail buyer.
Before you order
How does the trial work?
Live with them for 30 days. If they are not right, tell me and send them back in the original packing — keep it. You cover return freight, which on a floorstander is not trivial, so let's get the model choice right up front.
What does the service promise actually cover?
Labour on any repair, free, for as long as the original owner has them. Parts at cost. Drivers, crossover components, grilles, plates. A speaker built by hand can be repaired by hand, and that stays true in twenty years.
How does trade-up work?
Within five years, 60 per cent of what you paid comes off a larger model. Your old pair comes back here, gets refinished where it needs it, and goes out as second-hand stock at a fair price to someone who could not stretch to new.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not yet. Freight, duties and the cost of a return on a heavy wooden cabinet make it a bad deal for both of us at current volume. Ask anyway — if you are somewhere that works, I will say so.
Questions first, order second.
That is the right order. Call or write and get a straight answer, including when the answer is that these are not the speakers for you.
